OH NO.
As a pretty hard core fan, I have already cleared shelf space on my book case for the Midnight Sun which should've been released next summer. But now because some selfish idiot decided to illegally post it online, I'LL NEVER GET TO READ THE FULL BOOK. I'll never get to read Twilight from Edward's point of view. All I get is half of the unedited Midnight Sun. Why? Because life is not fair.
I think it's understandable why Stephenie is unable to continue the book because PFFT YEAH I WOULD BE PRETTY BITTER, TOO. Some may feel that Stephenie is "giving up" but this is a very personal matter. Any author who has had their copyright violated must feel that they are completely vulnerable and cannot share their work with readers safely anymore. Yes, HP7 was leaked but only AFTER it was finished. I think the best decision for Stephenie, the fans and the book itself was to leave it unwritten for now. As the first part of the book is posted online, I'm sure this is some condolence to fans like myself who feel robbed by the moron who leaked it. But I do think with time Stephenie will be able to finish Midnight Sun and it will be her decision whether she decides to publish or not. It is most definitley not WEAK of Stephenie to react like this. She put her faith in trusted people and her trust was betrayed.
I think this shows that IT IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY. There are so many idiots that think the guide is just to leech 15 more dollars out of fans. NEWSFLASH, YOU'RE STUPID.
Ok, I'm going to change the poll Caroline made because it's confusing.
By the way, I AM SO MAD. WHY DO PEOPLE TRY TO KEEP ME AWAY FROM EDWARD?! Since I can not keep my eyelids from drooping, I will read all 264 pages tomorrow and tell you what I think. I'm sure it'll be wonderful but it's just not as satisfying as having the printed and bound text in my hands ;(

TWILIGHT MOVED TO NOVEMBER 21
Summit announced today that Twilight will not be released on December 12th, but rather be moved back to the intentional HBP release of November 21!
Was this nice surprise due to the fact that HP6 was moved until July? YOU BET. What a slap in the face for WB. They soo deserve it. HP moving had NOTHING to do with Twilight, but Twilight moved to November just because HP was out of the way. That's what I gathered from reading the press reports.
Here's an MTV article about the move. Stephenie even commented about it.

WHAT IS THIS!?!? I WAS COUNTING DOWN 3 MONTHS THEN THEY CHANGE THE RELEASE DATE TO NEXT SUMMER!?!?! HARRY POTTER ISN'T GETTING ANY YOUNGER!
Ok, I've calmed down. Looks like Twilight really won't have any competition. I was looking forward to see who would come out strong in the box office.
WB will probably flop back to a release in February or something. They fear Dumbledore's Army. --Nyera

BREAKING DAWN 2 MOVIES?
Hellooo, Twilighters! It's Tuesday!! SM talks about BD movie possibilities. The whole article is here. Within the article is another link where SM answers some questions about BD. I'm not sure if I posted it already but here it is.
Before anybody says this is a gimmick to make more money, it's not. If they do carry out the decision to split BD into two parts, it's only to keep from cutting lots of scenes. They would split the movie for the fans. I don't think money will be an issue after Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse hit theatres (then there's also the DVD sales).

Caroline's Reactions/Angryish Rant/I liked it??
Don't read this if you have not read Breaking Dawn yet... unless you want to be spoiled. Becuase i feel that there has been adaquate time for everyone to read it. If you haven't and you get spoiled, too bad for you becuase i am warning you.
Ummmm yeah. On a lighter note so i know everyone has been checking this site non stop waiting for my reaction becuase its so fantastic (not) but I have been undecided with my reactions.
Its like Bella's mood swings. I didn't like and then i did and then i didnt then i did... then i decided i didnt know if i really liked it at all or not... hmm. And you think this is confusing for you to follow. This goes on in my head.
Anywayssss, Over all I am creeped out but I like it. I don't really feel like giving a play by play or rather chapter by chapter so I will generalize....
In the beggining i was wayy to excited to care that it sucked.
Then i got to the honeymoon. that really dissapointed me. I really wanted like half of the book to just describe him naked and the sex. seriously? blackout (future reference- but you describe the gory disgusting scene of bella giving birth that was just nasty and made me want to puke?)
Continuing- just seriously though at first i was like waiiittt she did NOT just blackout the sex scene. seriously! thats umm kind of the point of reading BD cause honestly who cares if they get married cause i cant marry edward soooo.... angryness... and then the whole preggers thing. Umm yeah. I totally called it right after they had sex and she was eating dozenssss and dozenss of eggs. (btw eww i dont like eggs)
So yeah the pregnancy thing was totally annoyingness
p.s. STEPHENIE MEYER IS OBSEESSSED WITH BABIES! *will explain laterr*
Part 2: Jacobness=funny annoyingness grossness and a billion pages
Jacob is funny and i enjoy his blondie jokes and stuff but seriosly i dont wanna read a million kajillion pages about his point of view even though i enjoyed it? make sense? no. but thats what i think.
Anyways I was tottallyyy grossed out by the whole pregnancy thing/ birthing thing (okay birthing more but eww to both things)
[Howwww are theyy going to make this into a movie]
And the IMPRINTING ON THE BABY IS CREEPYYYY!!!
I feel better that jacob is not suffering anymore, but seriously couldn't he just have imprinted on that Lizzie girl (from that scene that made me giggle)!! or some other random girl?
BETTER IDEA! how about bella DOESNT have a baby. o wait. thats not possible since SM is OBSESSED with babies *still wait for full explanation*
Part 3: Bella's part again
Okay. This is when i thought it got good again
I like Bella as an angry vampire, but i secretly wished that she went wild. but i guess that never would have worked out with her babyness and all...
Anwyays i am kind of getting sick of commenting on this soo i will speed up.
THE VOLTURI SCENE WAS WAYYY TOOO LONG AND ANNOYING. becuase NOTHING absolutely NOTHING happened except bella realizes the extent of her powers. okay SM, you could have made this part a little bit shorter while I just wanted a little sex action or even just regular action? But they don't do ANYTHING. They just sit there protected and then they are like oh man. You guys had us beat. Let's go home so they can live happily ever after. It is slightly similar to (if you have ever watched dora the explorer) to swiper no swiping. Although they don't take up 3/4 ths of the show to make swiped give in at dora's skills. We allready know the outcome so why delay?
Anyways babies anyone? Throughout the series SM has shown us how almost all of her characters want to be mothers. Rosalie= obsessive pshtchopath who will stop at nothing to have a baby/be a mother. Esme killed herself for her baby. Alice doesn't know better but if she did she would want to be a mother. Bella did not see the light until she became a mother but now it's her obsession. Etc. Etc. I know people like babies ( I do too) but for a teen/preteen novel it's weird obsessive and kind of sounds like she wants us all to become mothers and just breed. I mean I know that's what we are for. But there is more to life than just being a mother. I think it might e a better message for old people who understand being a genetic dead end or are allready mothers. Since I am neither yet as most teens are I don't think u can appreciate the obsession of motherhood. In her writing it makes being a mother sound like a cult.
Plus Edward brooded the whole book unless he was having sex. Which made me upset. I like that he got to see in her mind though
This may look like I didn't like the book. But I did. Sort of. I have no clue of what I think. This book confounds me as to what my opinion is. Anyways I am getting so off topic I shall stop now. But yeah I will probably change my mid about it later. So I will probably write again. Also I am forgetting what my main point was and or any other commentary that I meant to write.
I tend to way overthink things though and probably am wayyyy over analyzing this so I will stop for real now.

Okay well thats not really the point of this since I dont like cake either... BUT
my friend Norah went to the only screening of his movie How to Be at the Rhode Island film festival which i almost went to but had to babysit :( i am still angry.
ANYWAYS they talked to him on speaker phone and norah asked him what his fave color is... brown btw and she told him how we got him a cake and ate it (i didnt- i just looked and stared at his beatiful crooked smile pic we took to put on the cake) on his birthday and he said he didnt like cake. TEAM JAKE!
I was looking through the archive and I found this. It's a New Moon extra Stephenie wrote from Jake's POV. Perhaps you've already read it but I know we've gotten a some more readers that come to the blog and the should get to see things from Jacob's eyes. I'm guessing some of those hard core Edward fans kinda like Jacob a LITTLE bit now, and the perspective will show you what a nice guy Jacob really is and all the pain he had to go through.

Well, Twilight I was Team Edward, New Moon I was Jacob, Eclipse, they both bothered me so it was a tie and Breaking Dawn is split evenly Edward/Jacob/SETH. Except it bothers me how Edward was a complete slave for Bella.

Rolling Stone has a few articles online about Twilight. First has an interview with SM about her musical taste and second confirms that the Muse song "Super Massive Black Hole" will be part of the Twilight soundtrack!
MTV talks to Stephenie about Breaking Dawn. CBS News also has a video. Comcast has an interview with Catherine and Stephenie.
I've noticed that the site has been a bit slow when it comes to comments and general visitors. Perhaps some people are still reading or are preoccupied by the Olympics (which is taking up a good chunk of my time). How about you guys send in emails with your own thoughts about Breaking Dawn? We're putting together an initial reactions podcast now! Once we get to Chapter by chapter, it would be nice if you guys would leave feedback or questions about the chapter we'll be talking about in the comments, but that's for a later post.

TEAM TAYLOR!
MTV has a new interview with Cam! LA Time has articles on Kristen and Twilight in general. Apple Trailers has finally put the trailer up for download. Now you can watch it on your video ipod a bajillion more times!

Last night at 2 AM, I had a revelation. I was flipping through my copy of New Moon and it hit me that Taylor Lautner truly IS Jacob Black. I love him. Both of them. They're the same person anyways.
He's charming, he's cute and lovable, Edward looks stoned while Jacob is radiating like sunshine (aha, like my NM reference?), he's RIPPED, and he went to the midnight release of BD. Plus he's charismatic and enthusiastic and perfect in every sense of the word.

New Feed!
As most of you can tell, I have quite a hard time trying to upload episodes onto the iTunes page. I found a new server that can make my life much easier, and give our lovely subscribers content more often.
This means that we will have a NEW page on itunes. You will notice that the new page has a description saying that this is the updated feed. There is also an episode called Breaking Dawn Excitement that appears only on the updated page.
PLEASE, we would love for you to resubscrive to our new iTunes page. It kills me that we've reached over 500 subscribers and now I have to start all over again. Just search Bite Me and we should come up. I'll do my best to remove the old page to rid of any confusion. Remember to subsribe to the feed that has BREAKING DAWN EXCITEMENT. If you click here, the page will direct you to iTunes and subscribe for you so you don't have to go searching.
Also, I think we've progressed very much as a podcast (I shudder when I think about our first episode). Some optimistic reviews would be great to compliment our new and improved page. The page should be up by tomorrow.

OMG
I'm 200 pages in. Wilbersss and Sarah Kate are finished. I'm in complete shock. It's just SO different than what everybody was expecting but this is definitely Stephenie's BEST book yet.

12 HOURS
This isn't getting annoying at all, is it?

We'll have some stuff up by 5 today (probs a YouTube thing) but most of the stuff will come around 2 or 3 in the morning. Check the blog every few hours!

TWILIGHTERS! Here we go. After waiting for months and months, we will finally get our hands on the fate of Edward, Bella, and Jacob.
No need to go into lock down because we'll be posting A LOT of goodies throughout the day. I think we'll record 10 minute segments and upload them on youtube to keep you and your friends busy. THEN when midnight strikes we'll take lots of pictures and videos. I might even get Wilbersss crying on camera and definitely Janella screaming with excitement.
As promised, we will NOT be posting any spoilers on the site. But we'll post updates on our progress of the book and any hysterical reactions we have (not giving plot away, of course). I will disable the comments on tomorrow's posts, but emails with your feedback, pics, or anything else would be awesome. You'll get a reply, I guarantee it! ALSO send in your contest entries!
