The New York Times has reviewed Twilight and Larry blogged with his thoughts about it. He says,
"Where the article gets interesting is when Collins discusses a generation of girls growing up with the supposedly unrealistic expectation of finding a hunk like Edward who just wants to cuddle."
So according to Collins, it's wrong to have high standards? Just think of all the losers Stephenie Meyer prevented us from going out with! *cheers for Stephenie and Larry, boos the bitter Collins woman*

Collins does not understand that when you put a romantic quote out of the context and you do not know the whole story that it sounds weird and creepy. You need to see Bella and Edward's relationship grow to understand why they are saying those things. She is misprepresenting the book and she has stupid opinions. AND shes old. HA!

I don't think that there is a boy like Edward out there, but Collins is nuts. Stepheine has given girls standers, and not to just take any guy who happens to look your way. I so agree that she took that quote out of context it makes us all sound like we are reading a cheesy romance novel. When you don't see the work that Edward and Bella both had to get do to get to that point. She made us all sound like some yelling fan girls.

IT'S FICTIONAL! Geez... Perhaps Collins is right but I agree with you Nyera. It is perfectly fine to have standards. It is those standards that will guide us girls through the ever-complicated world of GUYS. What a flake!
