MTV has pros and cons of the release date.
WOO that was some big news. Here's my breakdown:
- They must be very confident New Moon will do well if they've already announced Eclipse into a movie. But to be fair, New Moon will bring in money even if it's good or not.
- Seven months between films is great but way too soon. I don't understand how it's possible to make a huge movie like that in such a small amount of time. I thought New Moon was coming out too soon but I really wouldn't mind seeeing both of them delayed for quality's sake. Deathly Hallows part 1 and 2 will be released six months apart but all the filming will be done at the same time unlike NM and EC.
- I think Summit is afraid the hype will die down if there's too much time in between films. But they should know that if the hype were to die down (as it has now), it will come right back up a few months before the release.
- I wonder who they'll get for Eclipse...MAYBE CATHERINE WILL BE BACK?!?! I doubt it since one year wasn't enough for her to make New Moon. Seven months for Eclipse won't do it either.

i hope they have a really good director for it. but as for the Deathly Hallows, i cant wait till they come out!

ummm well i understand why they are having the release dates so close because since the vampires are like everlasting youth then they cant change. so the actors have to look the smae and not look to much older. people will go to all the movies if they're good or bad so of course their not worried=]
ohmygod i am so shocked. 7 MONTHS??? someone please have mercy upon our souls...god, it better be GOOD.
