Not sure what to think. She's perfect in the sense that she's young and pale. I don't know if she could pull off the role though. This is JANE we're talking about here. But I won't judge her acting skills because I have seen zero of her movies. Still, I don't like it.

I'm really not seeing Dakota Fanning as Jane. I dunno. I guess we'll have to wait and see for that one.
And all this High School Musical actors suggested for roles in New Moon is garbage. Haha I really am against that one.
Hopefully it'll all work out in the end.
I think she is too young to play her but i think that she could do it. Like she has been an amazing actress since she was like 5 and i think she could definitely pull off the role if she worked her ass off. But we have to see. And about Lucas Grabeel, EW!

i think dakota fanning would make a good jane, shes old enough now too look the part- but shes still yound and small and she can be totally creey (ex- that scary movie with robert deniro, hide and seek) but i think it would be weird to throw in a big name star to a cast who started out as nobodies, espically for such a small role- she'd only be in the movie for like 10 minutes, and then wouldnt she look older when she comes back for breaking dawn?
oh yeah good point, she probably would look older because the filming of that one is a couple years away yet. i do like her as Jane though but i agree with you on the fact that it is a small role so i dont know if a big name is such a good idea. because what if something comes up in their future and they can't do breaking dawn.

Are they ever described as blonde? I just can't see it. I'm not against either of them as actors, Dakota is cute (and they can always get Ella if Dakota starts looking too old) and Lucas was on an episode of my fav TV show and he's like the only cool person in high school musical but still I'm not thinking the HSM reunion needs to happen... EVER let alone in New Moon!

like serioulsy if one of the other girls gets cast, little tweens will flock to the movie but only because of vanessa i think. i dont know i just hope they cast whoever deserves the part the most. So i trust their judgement.

I hate High School Musical and I can't believe that New Moon is going to turn into a freakin' disney sitcom. They're also thinking about hiring Vanessa Hudgen or Brenda Song as Leah. WHO THE HECK COULD SEE THAT!? I'm seriously upset with how this movie is turning out castwise.

dont jane appears in Eclipse too? they can combine eclipse and New Moon together since the time difference in is like a couple of days or something?
