Playlists and Biting Tyra!!! Very Exciting!
So this morning I woke up and meandered downstairs and routinely turned on the T.V. just to see if there was anything exciting on. I noticed nothing of interest--no Million Dollar Listing :(. So as usual I kept the T.V. on and walked away (I know, waste of energy... whatever.) But you will thank me for not being green (I am trying to build the suspense here). Then the Tyra show was on- if you have not seen the Tyra show, its entertaining... So I glanced at the info to see what the episode was about and low and behold TWILIGHT! with Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson guest appearances. I didn't know what to expect, well because if you have seen the Tyra show, well you understand then. So they come on and have some interesting talking while I giggle hysterically in anticipation for something hilarious to happen. I didn't have to wait very long because after like 20 seconds of Tyra's small talk, she asks Rob to BITE her and he does. I roll around the floor laughing and try to compose myself for more hilarity; they don't dissapoint. Then Tyra makes a comment about Taylor's teeth being the prettiest she has had on the show (truthful statement.) and then he is like "Would you like them to bite you?" and she is like "Yes, bite my leg." Poor Taylor goes on the move when she was like ahahaha no. just kidding. I have a conniption fit at this point. BUT WAIT! there is MORE! Then Tyra whips out G-Strings with Team Taylor and Team Robert written on them. (the only thing to make this more hilarious would be to play the thong song- which sadly did not happen) Rob wraps them around his hands and makes me die laughing while Taylor is like "NO NO NO!!!" (what an awkward lovely child )
too many interviews. just kidding.

Top 10 love and hate for MOVIE!
Top 10 things Twilight fans hated about the movie
1. No chemistry between Bella and Edward
2. Poor screenwriting (one fan wrote, “The movie lost the magic that is Twilight because the screenwriting is poor.”)
3. Excruciatingly amateur special effects (especially the flying scenes which the majority of fans found embarrassingly awful)
4. The vampire makeup
5. The forest scenes between Bella and Edward — there were at least two dozen people that said the audiences were bursting into laughter at the corniness during these scenes
6. Bella and Charlie eating out every meal at the cafe
7. Bella’s character — a number of fans pointed out that Bella looked frightened the entire time and delivered her lines (even with Edward) in a monotone
8. The first kiss scene — those underpants caught a lot of flack
9. Jasper — the way he looked, his lack of lines, etc.; fans thought he was all wrong
10. The addition of scenes not included in the book — many Twi-hards didn’t feel like the new scenes added anything at all to the story
Top 10 things Twilight fans loved about the movie
1. Charlie — out of over 300 comments, there was nothing but praise for Charlie’s performance.
2. The casting of the Cullens, especially Emmett and Alice
3. The baseball scene — many fans said this scene was reproduced exactly how they imagined it
4. Edward saving Bella from the van
5. Edward saving Bella in Port Angeles
6. Mike, Jessica, and the other students at Forks High School
7. James and Victoria
8. The final fight scene
9. The prom
10. Edward and Bella in biology class (actually, this one was pretty close; only barely over 50% of the fans who specifically mentioned this scene liked it a lot; the rest thought it was horrible)

Twilight on BuddyTV
Read part 1 of the review and check out the rest of their Twilight section.
Caroline and I each have reviews below for your reading. Please let us know if you agree or disagree with our thoughts and add thoughts of your own. If you have a lengthy review, send it to us at bitemeatp@yahoo.com
New Moon is officially official! From Twilighters Anonymous
MTV has an AWESOME interview with Rob. Stoner as usual, but so funny.
New York Times review and Taylor Lautner being silly. You also might like this (it's a gallery so scroll through the rest). Also some random fun stuff from the Lexicon on YouTube.
Nyera's Review
I'm going to try to organize all my jumbled thoughts now. But if you'd like a more professional review, I found a really intelligent guy on YouTube.
General Good Stuff:
So something I enjoyed about the movie was that the cheesiness was kept to a minimum. The first time you read Twilight it's fine but it gets annoying real fast. Also, in the book Edward is never fun. He's a perfect gentleman but I like how Rob made him less obnoxious. Rob's better at having fun anyways. All the scenes that were supposed to be intense during the first hour of the movie had me bent over double laughing. For example, the first time Edward smells Bella in bio class was hilarious. I don't know if it was supposed to be funny because it's pretty serious in the book but the whole theatre was in tears. Good times. In general, I thought the movie was excellent because it took away the obnoxious and added some humour.
General Meeeh/Bad Stuff:
The fight scene in the end was different than I imagined. I didn't like how Emmett, Jasper and Alice kind of wooshed out of nowhere. The Nomads were portrayed differently than what I thought too. Neither were bad but I just think Catherine is best at making things interesting and funny. Now to the horrendously bad...I only have a complaint about the glitter effect and Jacob's hair. Both sucked for obvious reasons. I also thought the movie as a whole was kind of choppy. I didn't mind but someone who hasn't read the books might find the movie a bit difficult to follow. Also, whoever put together the trailers put too much emphasis on action when it wasn't even that dominant in the movie. Some comedic snippetts in the trailer might have attracted a broader audience but it's not like I know what I'm talking about.
Random Stuff I Loved:
- The prom scene was really nice. I like how Bella wore leggings and converse underneath her pretty dress haha.
- Charlie and Billy were so funny together. I loved the first scene when Billy was trying to run Charlie over with his wheels. Best friends for life :) All the scenes with Charlie made me so happy (except the scene when Bella left). He was perfect.
- Emmett was always on top of a car? Kellan did such a good job! He looked intimidating at first but turned out to be a really funny guy, just like Emmett.
- Rosalie and Alice were awesome too.
- Jasper! He always looked SO uncomfortable around Bella and it was so funny! And he's way hotter than I ever gave him credit for before. Caroline says its because they hotter in moving pictures, she's totally right.
- The golden onion was random but I really wish I had one.
- Esme was beautiful! I really hope the same actress will sign on for the rest.
- MIKE NEWTON! and the rest of Bella's friends never interested me in the books. Mike Newton was just the annoying one but Mike Welch is so funny! And he's just as beautiful as the vampires. He had nicer eyeballs than Edward's. Tyler and Eric were really great too.
- The dinner scene at the Bloated Toad was nice...(cat *snort*).
- I liked the random tree climbing even though it wasn't part of the book,
- Sam and Embry looked pretty cool. I'm really excited to see New Moon and the rest of the pack.
- Carlisle seemed pastier than the rest of the vampires but was really good too.
- Super Massive Black Hole made me start to cry with laughter. The baseball scene was so funny.
- Speaking of hysterical laughing, Edward in sunglasses scene made us giggle. Because it was really attractive but the background music made it funny.
- The end credits were cool. Especially when jasper's face filled up the million inch screen.
I'm sure I'll think of more things to add to the list later. Now for the funny story:
We got to the theatre just before 10 to catch the 10:35 show. We were 40 minutes early, but there were already at least 100 people lined up to get good seats. We (well Caroline) were trying to inch our way up the front of the line but this one girl went nuts. It was really entertaining. She was about to slash Caroline's face with her acryllic nails. So when they started letting people in, me and Johanna (caroline's sister) ran and shoved until we got seats that wouldn't hurt our necks. And that silly girl with bronzer caked onto her face ended up with seats inferior to ours. Haha. Anyways, we saw a Twilight Mom there with her two daughters and even a few guys were dragged by their girlfriends to see the movie. We had lots of sqeelers in our theatre...whenever something hard core happened, girls would scream and clap. I screamed for jacob and jasper haha. Then I squeeled under my breath whenever jasper or mike came on :)
Please tell me your thoughts in the comments. And I'd like to remind you that comments with bad swearing will end up being deleted.
Golden Onion Anyone?!
Afternoon Movie Updates (I just woke up)
28 Reasons why the movie is better than the book (a funny slideshow from New York Magazine)
I read that Twilight made $7 million on the midnight release alone and will probably take in $30 million on opening day (which was yesterday). Fun fact: Twilight took $37 million to make so it literally paid for iteself within 24 hours. That's impressive.
I stayed up late to watch this. Kristen is always kind of jittery and awkward but I think that's why she was so good as Bella.
Still working on the review (trying to remember the movie actually) but I think the HOW OLD ARE YOU part way way too overdone. Maybe because I've seen too many trailers.
Jasper was perfect. Jackson was better than the Jasper in my head. And I think I've fallen for Mike. I think I've told you this already though...
golden onion,
Nyera
AHHHHHHHH!
General observations:
- I never thought Rob was that attractive for Edward, but I've changed my mind
- JASPER. So good. wow. I can't get over it.
- Kristen was awesome.
- everything was so awkward. it was perfect
- Charlie was outstanding
- Mike was adorable. Seriously he is the best.
- biggest complaints: glitter effect and jake's hair
- the movie was really funny.
- I loved super massive black hole during the baseball scene
- i laughed really hard when Edward opened the volvo door for Bella in the parking lot. with shades!
- golden onion.
I think that people who weren't fans of the book would be kind of lost...
PS. really funny story and FULL review to come tomorrow

Wow. She just texted me. WE'RE GOING TO SEE TWILIGHT. Like I said before, this better be good.
Ok, I have a huge headache. And it's going to be so loud so I should probably take advil but I don't want to get drowsier...I need coffeeeeeee.
TWILIGH THE MOVIE IS OUT!
If you've already seen it, PLEASE spark some discussion in the comments. Spoilers will be there, so watch out.
I found this article on Twilighters EMS. Apparently most girls think Twilight is real. How silly.
I know the books are HUGE now with the movie and everything, but I miss the old days when the books were just a good read minus the way too obsessed fangirls. Yes, I like Edward but I understand that he IS NOT REAL. There are no boys like Edward, so stop looking. Raising your standards is one thing, but you probably aren't going to find a soulmate that sparkles. Sorry. Just settle for a Jacob instead.
BuddyTv interview with Rachelle, Edi and TAYLOR. Can you believe they asked us to be partner sites? I know it's all about advertisment and making money, but affiliating with us means that we ARE significant! Yay.

I just found a new movie clip on iTunes! Go to the itunes store, then scroll down to the Free on iTunes box!

New Baseball Scene
My Own Worst Enemy has been cancelled :(
I hate it when NBC cancels shows before their prime. MOWE was a bit too intense for me but I guess it was still good, right? But cancelling Freaks and Geeks was definitley the BIGGEST mistake ever made by a tv network.
I changed the poll and quote. I know it's been slow around here lately but I'll try to keep updating everyday. I've missed blogging! We still get a significant number of hits a day, but I miss all your comments and feedback. It's boring without you.

Unscripted! With Steph, Rob & Kristen
ALSO, MTV has some exclusive clips! Keep checking MTV in the next few days for some cool stuff.
You may have noticed that we have two new top affiliates, Twilighter Anonymous and EMS Twilighters. You'll find their buttons on the sidebar. We're Twilighter Anonymous' 3rd most trafficked site, yay! And I'm just going to put it out there that the staff of EMS Twilighters are really awesome.
I'm rereading Breaking Dawn. I really don't understand why people are so negative about it. Sure the concept is weird and it might seem that this book was kind of pointless, but I still love it. I think it's because 1) I love Stephenie's writing style 2) random comments made by the characters make me laugh harder than necessary 3) Jacob's POV is 50 times better than Bella's and 4) I LOVE the wolves and everything about their pack.
I wish Seth would imprint on me, even if he is a bit annoying.
I found this La Push wallpaper made by ~weasley-x on deviantART. I think it's beautiful :)
She has wicked cool graphics, *cough ATL,HP & The Office cough*.

9 DAYS
Here's an interview with Stephenie on Ask.com.
Yesterday, I came across a Twilight RPG and IT WAS AWESOME. I read all the ones with Seth and it made all warm and fuzzy inside. I know it's not canon (I'm not really sure if the term canon applies to any fandom...is it just HP?), but it still was great. So now I'm on the hunt for an RPG to read with lots of Seth. I would go to fanfic but most of those are Edward/Seth ships. *cringe*

YouTube MARATHON!
4 new pics, 40 pic slideshow, another 25 pic slideoshow (but it's not bella's lullabye in the background. just search in the lullabye and i'm sure tons of people have uploaded it.)
here's a slideshow that a fan put together. the pictures aren't too recent but the song that goes with it is amazing.
Did anybody notice Victoria's shirt that said Kiss Me I'm Irish? that made me laugh.

Official Guide has artwork!
I haven't been to the official website in AGES. It reminds me of the first time I had read Twilight and spent the night on all the fansites. I still remember the feeling after I read the book for the first time and it was one of the BEST feelings in the world. There's no word to describe the feeling...it's like intrigue, excitement, and instant obsession rolled into one. And it's different than Harry Potter because HP was more of a gradual love and appreciation.
YEEESH. Why am I so sentimental and cheesy today?
"The hottest guy in modern lit is Edward Cullen, and he sparkles."
I think the why it sucks part is lacking because it just targets Edward. If the lady who wrote the why it sucks part read New Moon, then she might have different opinions on the series as a whole. Poor wolfies don't get any reprisentation :(
On a somewhat relative note, my friend has started and has almost finished the series in less than a week. She loves Edward because he is "perfect" but openly admits that he is creepy. Which is good and very perceptive. More people should think that way. I, just like most of you, denied Edward's creepiness for a long time. Typically, she thought Jake was the annoying rebound guy but felt bad for him during Eclipse. I can't wait to see what she thinks of Breaking Dawn...somebody accidently spilled that Bella gets pregnant and has a hybrid. Ha.
FUN FACT: Stephenie modelled Nessie after Pearl from The Scarlet Letter. We just read it in English and Pearl creeps me out. Nessie is weird but she's not that much of a demon child.

(Twilight Character) for PREZ.
ps. Different breeds (vampires, werewolves, etc.) are most deffinitely not discriminated against.
I'm also wondering who you may be supporting for the real election. Feel free to share your thoughts below, but please be respectful. I know I'll be up really late tonight watching the news so I hope I can pass the time with some good debate/comment wars. Be there!
This is the exclusive scene I posted a few days ago in case you didn't get a chance to see it.

DECODE!
Interesting EW article AND 2 NEW JACOB PICS!!!
analysis of pictures:
1. hair looks wicked shiny? AND IS THAT A MUSHROOM CUT?? THIS BUGS ME TO THE MAX. TAYLOR LAUTNER HAS NATURALLY GORGEOUS HAIR. But I like the holey shirt. I'm actually a bit afraid to see what the rest look like...
2. *heart attack* enough said? I love how it's in black&white. wow. that's an amazing picture. minus the hair
3. aww so cute. but really random? I guess that's not in the movie.
4. reminds me of Eden...I don't really know if I like this or not.
5. Jeez Bella. It's raining water, not hydrochloric acid. Get a grip.
Never Think by Robert Pattinson. Listen before it gets taken down! Soundtrack is out by the way.
