According to his fansite, Henry Cavill was offered the part of Carlisle in the upcoming movie, but declined because "he wasn't interested".
I thought that was interesting, seeing as Stephenie herself thought he was the perfect Edward. What do you think?

Nyera, you should be welcome to other nationalities! Just because someone can't type in English in no way means that their right of freedom of speech should be taken away. People may be more inclined to actually listen to your podcast if they thought you were kind and welcoming. My mom is Japanese and reads Twilight a lot. So, I wanted her to listen to your podcast. But, she always likes to look at the websites before she listens to anything (I read them out loud to her because she can't read English). After hearing your rude, off color remark about other languages, she refused to listen. So take heed Nyera, you are just steering people away by discriminating. And at the same time being extremely rude.

Anonymous, I'm SO sorry! I don't think you understand our situation, though. There's this one person who keeps sending us the same inappropriate email in 10 different languages. We're definitley not opposed to different languages and nationalities, heck I'm egyptian and I speak arabic! I think it's great your mom likes Twilight. Please don't be offended because I honestly didn't mean to be so rude. So sorry :( Would you explain to your mom that we are anything but anti- diverse nationalities? It would be hard to do this podcast together if we were racist since we're so diverse ourselves. Please comment back and tell me if you understand. I actually think it's amazing that you and your mom can share Twilight together.
