Jackson Rathbone has been cast as Jasper! I like him. He was one of Stephenie's original cast members. Some people like him as Edward. Actually Chace Crawford would have been a good Jasper. You know, good looking and kinda cool but not too Edward-esque. Chace Crawford would never make a good Edward... he just looks like this popular California kid who belongs on the beach. Know what I'm talking about? My Edward is kinda British (or French) old school.
So like 5 minutes ago, I decided we were going to regularly post Twilight news on the blog. On that note, an excerpt from The Host is now on Stephenie's website. Go read it. Then pre-order.

if you actually knew who chace crawford was, you would know that he's not a rich california kid, he's a 22 year old who grew up in texas. just cause he's on a show about rich people, it doesn't mean he's a rich popular kid in real life.
Ok there fangirly. I know he's texan but I'm just saying he pulls off the look well. He does a great job in Gossip Girl. And just because you live in California doesn't mean your snooty and rich. I'm not stupid.
the one cast for jasper is nice. Chase Crawford would be a pretty good jasper, with those eyes and hair. The one cast for edward, i dont think that was a good choice. i mean i like him, but he just doesnt give the Edward feeling. Does anybody get what i mean??
