New Interview

The Lexicon has conducted a new interview with Solomon Trimble. He seems like a pretty cool guy to me!

EDIT: So we recorded and since the show wasn't very planned out, it doesn't have that much good Twilight talk. It's pretty random, but most of it relates to Twilight. So we've decided to call it Bite Me #4.5 because it's not a real episode, more like a funny-random show that you may or may not enjoy. So don't complain and tell me what low quality it is, because I know. It's just for fun. Ton guest hosted, but I swear we'll have him on a real episode sometime :)

Choose Save Target As... then save it to your computer and let it download. When it's done, go to iTunes, click File>Import>then find the episode wherever you saved it. That should work. PS. I have no control over when episode 4 will be on the net. When I upload the show, it takes roughly 24 hours, sometimes more or less. So it might be up around midnight...I'd check back tomorrrow if I were you

Stephenie's website has a nice little Breaking Dawn countdown. But we had one first. Interview with Justin Chon, Mike Welch blog update (have you guys seen the black and white pic of him in a football jacket?!?!)

Kyle's better woo! The episode will be up by Wednesday if my computer behaves. We recorded such a long tome ago that I forgot what we talked about....oh I know, we talked more about Breaking Dawn and the movie. We also featured a little 3 miunte segment that will explain the poll (when the episode comes out, please click the change your vote button if you originally chose the Who? option) Also, check out my little propsition for the Breaking Dawn release. Honestly folks, if Nyera wasn't here, the podcast would never have been in existence. Nyera is the true founder of Bite Me: A Twilight Podcast, and is such a blessing to the group! Seriously, this child like rocks! She's the bomb. End of story. Sooooo, everyone better email or comment and wish our hallowed founder an awesome birthday!

Breaking Dawn

So according to Stephenie Meyer's site, Breaking Dawn will be the last book in the Twilight series with the exception to Midnight Sun. Most of you have probably figured this out, but for those of you who listened to me when I said BD may or may not be the final book, ooops.

"And with the extraordinary excitement surrounding the publication of Breaking Dawn, I'm thrilled that legions of new readers will now discover the saga that has already captivated millions around the world."

Tingley works for the publishing company, so this is definitely accurate. Eh only 4 and a half months! I should've started mourning weeks ago! But then again, that means MS will probably come out a year before I expected it to. And then there's always the movie and The Host. I'll be re-reading Twilight in a depressed fashion if you need me, Nyera

Mike and Kellan

Mike Welch updated his blog with a funny story about Twilight movie and it's Kellan Lutz' (Emmet) birthday today! I have no idea how old he turns because IMDb, wikipedia and both his fansites don't even have his birthdate anywhere. My guess is 23 but I'm probably wrong.

EDIT: Nevermind I found it, he was born in '85 so today he turns 23. Haha I was right! Ouch I just fell off my computer chair.

And a funny quote from The Hollywood Reporter on Twilight.

PS. 10,000 BC was good. I didn't think the story line was that exciting but Steven Strait was glorious. It's a really good movie if you're into woolly mammoths and tigers that are clearly on hormones haha. The ending was really good; you think you know what's going to happen then WABAM.

HP Talk

The seventh HP book is going to be split into 2 parts for the movie both to be directed by David Yates! There will be 8 Potter films! GAHHHHH!!!

Taylor Lautner Confirmed as Jacob

No big deal since we (as in the fandom) already kinda figured it out.

My thoughts: I like him. I just wished Tyler Posey would get the part because he was my perfect Jake. Taylor works for me though. He looks young in a lot of pictures but if you didn't like him already, I'm sure you'll like him now (look up). He's good as young Jacob and as time goes on he'll grow up with Jake. It would've been really cool if an undiscovered actor that went to the open casting calls was chosen. But I'm happy, are you? Comment.

Midnight Release

As you might have seen on the Lexicon, some serious work has to be done if we want a midnight release for Breaking Dawn. The Lexicon posted some good ideas that we will definitely be pursuing. All of us will be writing indivisual letters to our local B&N events manager and we think you should too. We've also opened our own little petition on the forums. The release is less than five months away so we better get crackin!

Emails been a bit slow lately so I've got a good question for you guys: What does the title Breaking Dawn symbolize? For example, New Moon symbolized a new start for Bella, Eclipse was the meeting of the Vamps and Werewolves etc. Also tell us if you think any deaths will happen and if you think this is the last book of the series (not counting Midnight Sun). Oh yeah, and tell me if you like the music or not.
